Weird Indian Prussian-Style Marching Bass Tenor Drum Brass 17-inch Vintage UK?

Description

A strange brass tenor or bass marching drum in the early 20th hardware century style. True 17-inch diameter, and has two thin mylar drum heads which are marked "SNBK India 10mm 17*2".
Based on the design, I'd assume this is a vintage British or French drum except for its excellent condition and a plastic eye bolt style harness ring. May be a modern or semi-modern Indian piece. In any case it's very clean and works well.
