This is an excellent-condition railroad hobby train transformer made by Model Rectifier Corporation, Edison, New Jersey. It reads "
Throttlepack N-Gauge Hobby Transformer Model 501 N.
"

I do not know much about these or when they were made. I'm guessing 1970s or 1980s? I do not have a way of testing it but the guy I bought it from said it works. It is in excellent condition with very little scratches or wear. Also comes with a Lionel Corporation power connector (I believe this is the part that connects the transformer power to the track).
