SPECIFICATIONS
:
Up for your consideration is a Vintage 11" Wooden Bolt Tuned Barrel Bongo Percussion Drum w/ Leather Strap. I am unsure of the maker as there is no makers mark. The drum is constructed like a barrel as there are individual slats of wood (see interior pics). The drum sounds nice and deep. There is a leather shoulder strap as well as a roped handle directly underneath it.
I have included the max amount of pictures as well as a detailed item description, so please read/look carefully and do not hesitate to ask any and all questions as I am happy to be of assistance.
Condition
: Overall, I would consider the drum in good condition with some minor conditional notes. There is a 9" split in the wood, but it doesn't seem to affect sound and there appears to be a repaired portion to the left of the split (see pics). The lower metal strap has some bends, wear and seems that it needs to be tightened. Top drum portion is in good condition without any rips, tears or holes. Please note that the top may have been replaced as there appears to be remnants of drum skin around the edges.  Please expect there to be scratches, nicks, dings and paint loss throughout the piece and if you would like additional pics of certain areas, please ask.
