    Description

This is a collection of 12 bell sets from the 1930s-60s. All are diatonic, with most in the key of C. The ranges are 1-1.5 octaves (8-12 notes).
Some sets come in boxes, as pictured. Most boxes have some damage—usually torn edges. Most do not come with mallets. Many sets are out-of-tune, though the sets with flat steel or brass bars are generally in tune. Some sets have damaged or missing rubber isolators.
    The collection includes:
    • "Xylophone Playing and Singing" book. 64 pages (pages 1-8 are missing). Made by Cole Corporation in Chicago, copyright 1939.
    • Tube bells on green wood board. There is a tear in one suspension cord.
    • Emenee bell lyre. Comes with mallets. Box is crushed.
    • 2 sets of tube bells in red wood racks. There is a chip in the right side of one rack. Some tubes are out-of-tune.
    • 2 Clown Xylophones. One comes with a box and mallets. One mallet head is loose.
    • Bell set with animal pictures on bars and red plastic frame. Made in Japan.
    • Schoenhut bells on red wooden table. Bells are well-tuned. There are some nails coming loose on the right side.
    • Tudor Xylophone in cardboard box. It had a 1966 calendar inside, so I assume it was made before then.
    • Emenee Console Xylophone, with box, mallets, and song book.
    • Playskool bells, arranged vertically in a plastic magician case.
