Cond This is a beautiful 1950s Lionel Trainmaster Transformer Type ZW, 275 Watts. Condition couldn't be nicer. I plugged it in and the green light comes on, but I don't have any way to test it. Based on the condition I feel confident it will be ok, but I have to sell as is. There is nothing missing, broken or damaged. Please look at all the pictures to appreciate the care given to this transformer. I have even pictured the inside for you. It will also come with a reproduction box and reproduction instruction sheet which I bought to insure that this transformer would travel safely. No reserve. Buyer to pay .00 shipping. The transformer looks in great overall condition for it's age and both contact rollers are still in good condition, with lots of life still left in them. There are NO breaks or cracks observed, but some minor scuffing of the emblem on top. I test plugged it into the outlet and it very quiet transformer and you almost can not hear it. I also tested each of the 2 main power circuits and they all have ample power of about 20 VAC and is just what is required to run the older Lionel Postwar, Prewar Trains & BIG Standard Gauge Trains that need a lot of power to the rail. Also great to operate accessories, rather than overload your transformer circuit supplying power to your trains and has a professionaly replaced power cord for your safety. Whistle controls tested and work. Shows signs of prior loving use. Needs a light cleaning and polishing from years of storage. Since it is a pre-owned piece, it is sold as-is. Please study the pics

(just slightly smaller than the ZW - 275 watt) of Lionel transformers and has two independent circuits to operate two trains, circuit breaker and whistle controllers. The KW is one of the most reliable transformers ever made and will meet just about any power needs on a layout. Looks in GREAT  Lightly used condition.  I test plugged it into the outlet and tested each of the main circuits and they all have ample power;  and is just what is required to run the older Lionel Postwar and Prewar Trains that need a lot of power to the rail. Also great to operate accessories, rather than overload your transformer circuit supplying power to your trains. There is nothing missing or broken on this item. Even the base plate is in nice condition, not rusty! Since it is a used piece, it is sold as-is.
