Very vintage BRASS shell 8 lug Leedy snare . Sounds awesome! Top hoop is a leedy hoop but not original to this snare . It is a Leedy hoop .Tension top rods are custom made with the correct thread for this snare . Thread is 10/24 not the normal size . Bottom tension rods and hoop are original. Common screwdriver head type . Top 8 snare clips are aftermarket not original. Bottom clips are original . Snare wires are not original but work . Throw off and butt plate , lugs bottom hoop bottom tension rods are original. Hard to find . Look at pictures and send me questions. Shipping in the 48 states only .
No badge on this snare . I think it’s from the 20’s or 30’s .
