Aloha& Mahalo for your interest in this one of a kind RARE Sword in a Walking Cane!!
A very unusual piece that a client I have received as a gift from her brother! According to the story, her brother purchased the Sword/Cane from a Dealer in Paris France!!! The Dealer stated it was from the French Revolutionary War period. Believed to have been owned by a Priest. We have a document signed and notarized in French, that we had translated and comes with this purchase!
The document that was notarized states this - << I the undersigned,Mr.Dominque Gorofolo, declare,on his honor, to have bought a cane, with the head of a Virgin, at the FLEA Market in Saint Ouen(in Paris)in 1988 where I found myself in the company of a friend, Mr. Trombetta. I offered this object to my Sister, Mrs. Mary Theresa Drakert, then at her place in France (who at that point was living in a place in France), in July 1989, on the occasion of her 25th Wedding Anniversary.
This is asserting that this is right.
    At Venisseux, January 25th, 2005
    Dominque Garofoli
I certify that these words are exact (true)
Then it signed by the notary republic!!
What a rich history that this Sword/Cane has! Basically, the above (see pic) is a notarized statement that the Cane was bought at the Marche’ des Puces a Saint Ouen, which is the famous FLEA Market in Paris!
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own an Historic item such as this!! Is a Collectors dream piece !! I have more pics available just ask! The Cane is 34” in Length and the Knob (handle) is 3”x2 1/2”
Buy with Confidence!! Aloha & Mahalo
