A very unique 1969 Ludwig kit configured with a 14x18 bass drum, 16x16 floor tom and 9x13; all finished in the Multi-Sparkle finish option.
This configuration of sizes is far from a catalog standard and was likely custom ordered. A few unique features of the kit is the lack of any tom mounts on either the bass drum or high tom. Both toms have mufflers installed on both the resonant and batter sides. The bass drum is equipped with a set of telescoping spurs on both sides of the drum. The serial numbers for the three drums are very close sequential matches (76####), all dating to 1969.
14x18 : The bass drum is in great condition with original clear lacquer interior, original wrap, 4 telescoping spurs, original hoops complete with inlays and original resonant logo head. Being the rarity of this drum, photos have been included which show the batter side spurs removed from the shell. One row of spurs are slightly misaligned (please see photos).
16x16 : Like the rest of the drums, the floor tom is in great condition with original wrap, clear lacquer interior, double knob style mufflers and legs / mounts. The blue and olive badge has one bent corner.
9x13 : The high tom is in great condition with all original hardware, including double knob style mufflers. The shell is equipped with original wrap and finished in clear lacquered on the interior.
