    Description

FYI  I now suspect that this sword may not be an original, but a Victorian era copy. So, please bid accordingly.
Here is another katzbalger side arm sword, carried by the Swiss landsknecht infantry men. Typically constructed hilt with long quillons curved into a large S. Floral shaped iron pommel with piercings. All parts are tight. Broad, double edged blade has 2 deep fullers on one side, and only one fuller on the other side.  There are no markings that I can find.
    Overall length 31 1/2". Blade 25 1/4" long X 1 9/16" wide.
